On the occasion of the Parliamentary elections in the Republic of Serbia, the polling place at the  Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Chicago was opened on March 15, 2014. From the electoral roll-call for the consular jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Chicago 45 percent of the registered voters came to cast their ballots.
