Chicago Serbian Film Festival will take place December 6-8, 2013. Film enthusiasts will be able to see seven films which are: Circles, directed by Srdjan Golubovic, Falsifier directed by Goran Markovic, When Day Breaks by Goran Paskaljevic, Eyes Manouche by Ratko Momcilovic, Mamarosh directed by Momcilo Mrdakovic, State by Jelena Markovic and The Path Strewn with Roses by Olivera Saranovic.
All films are subtitled in English.
Chicago public will be able to vote and choose the best film of the festival which will receive an award of the festival audience. The festival will be held at the Muvico Theater, 9701 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, Il 60018.
Organizing Committee of the Chicago Serbian Film Festival, under the patronage of the government of the Republic of Serbia - Office for Cooperation with Diaspora, with cooperation of the Serbian newspaper Serbian Mirror, Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian-American Museum St. Sava, and with initiative of the Festival’s Director Mrs. Slavica Petrovic, has decided that Serbian Community of Chicago should become a host of this manifestation which will continue to take place each year.
