The intended stay abroad not exceeding 90 days requires no registration.

If a citizen failed to register prior to his trip or if he initially intended to stay abroad for fewer than 90 days but then needed to extend his stay pass 90 days, he can submit his application for the registration of his temporary stay abroad trough the  diplomatic-consular mission of the Republic of Serbia .

The application is submitted on the form FORM No. 8, along with a copy of a valid Serbian identification document (passport or identity card).

An application for temporary residence abroad for a minor is submitted by one of the parents if the parents have the same residential address in Serbia.
